Nicolaus Joseph von Jacquin reports that he has decided that his Laserpitium is a separate species, which he will call Laserpitium aquilegiaefolium.
Jacquin can decide better on Hedysarum alpinum from plants now germinating.
Jacquin sends a number of specimens and asks for advice, among them a Ranunculus from Schneeberg, Scilla, where he is puzzled by one published by Georg Christian von Oeder, and Orobanche purpurea, which does not quite agree with one published by Linnaeus.
Jacquin is ready to send a list to Anders Philip Tidström on minerals that he would like to obtain, and to send specimens in exchange, if Tidström is willing to continue. Also, dried plant specimens could be sent to Linnaeus in the same packages, so Linnaeus is welcome to send Jacquin a list of what he wants.
