The book is divided in different books which in their turn are divided into chapters. Notes
On f. 6b it is said to be a translation -or adaption? - from Arabic. Date f. 342 written a Friday, 27th of Rabi ul-axir, in the year 1263 (1846/1847) according to the Kashghar reckoning, in the year of the mouse. Copyist: Malla Qozi, on f. 343a written Malla Qozi Khalpat.
Ownership:
On f. 343 ... in red ink, i.e. 1877 obviously added by a later hand. Acquired by Rev. Gustaf Ahlbert in Kashghar in the 1930's; copius notes in the margin by Ahlbert's hand. Later presented to Gunnar Jarring.
Acquisition:
The ms. was part of the Jarring collection of Eastern Turkistan manuscripts donated to the Lund University Library in 1982.
