Nicolaus Joseph von Jacquin sends six plates from Florae Austriacae, sive plantarum selectarum and two from Hortus botanicus Vindobonensis. Hieracium and Potentilla alba are subject to detailed comments.
Jacquin sends seeds of Corypha minor.
Jacquin has a Kua flowering in his heated greenhouse. However, he could not make a full character of it since a negligent gardener had happened to water it in such a way that water had remained in concave parts of the plant, which had destroyed parts of the flower. Nevertheless, it is a magnificent plant, which will be called Amomus Kua.
