Dear Sir,
I recievd yours of July 10. I am very glad to hear from you and happy that you are sending me some of my desiderata in the musci way but non is come to hand as yet nor any live Plants. I have wrote and spock to all these you was to have plants of here, all of them has told me they wil send you all they can that you want but at this time there is no ships going to Sweden, the first that gos I shall not fail to remind them and what comes to my hand shall be sent to M[ister]r Grills Destd to you, the Dutches of Portland will send you some gold fish and Pheasants; if we can find a safe hand to send them by, I have little to informe of, since you left England we have had no new Publication on natural History worth notice. Lathams Book is not Published as yet but will be soon nor the Dutchess of Portlands on shales, I am going on in the same way in the Cryptogamia plant. As usel I believe me have found a new genus of Fungii this year in England, in my next I will infome more of it and send you its Description. I am obliged to you for setting me right in the Lichen-chrisus. I will send you some Specimens when we send the plants with the Sphaeraecarpas and others. I have been at this Oxford summer and saw Dills specimens which gave me much Pleasure, his Porella is without doubt only a Jungermannia. I have it in fructification. I should wish have your Lichen aquaticus-stygius & frigidus Jungermannia vaginata with any others you Please to send me with any new. I will make you all the return I can. We expect M[ister]r Broustenet in England this winter, he has sent me some good Plants from Montpelier this summer but not the Clathurus cancellatus which I long much to see. I wish you could send me a Boletus suaveolens, Hydnum imbricatum, tomentosum & parasiticum &c. All Friend is wishes to be remembre to you. Sir Joseph is well and is going in a few days into Lincolnshire for a month or two. M[ister]r Dryender is well also. I shall be glad to hear from you when convenant. I am very glad you can write so good English, do not forget it.
