Biography

Getauft am 17.3. 1580. Sohn eines Steinmetzen und Stadtmeisters. Wahrscheinlicher Schulbesuch in der Lateinschule in Weißenburg. 1600 Schuldiener in Weißenburg. 1601–1610 Kantor dort. Er verließ 1610 die Stelle wegen schlechter Bedingungen. Ab 1610 Diakon in Pappenheim. Bis 1631 in verschiedenen Pfarrstellen der Grafschaft Pappenheim nachgewiesen. Wahrscheinlich ließ er sich allmählich in Neudorf nieder. Er heiratete ein erstes Mal 1601. Sechs Kinder sind aus der Ehe hervorgegangen. In den Quellen wird er das letzte Mal im September 1632 genannt, als er in Nördlingen ein zweites Mal heiratete.
